In the News: JV Bautista says Jinggoy is not like Mikey

Atty. JV Bautista, though, said Jinggoy was too humble and modest to make a point-by-point difference.

“He (Jinggoy) is far better between the two of them (he and Mikey). The other guy (Mikey) merely won in Pampanga while Jinggoy won all over the country. He holds the second highest position in the Senate and is an experienced chief executive officer having served as mayor of San Juan (City in Metro Manila). Jinggoy is a multi-awarded actor, while the other guy is a mere pseudo actor,” he said.

To shoot down any similarities in comparison, re-electionist Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada stressed he is far different from the son of President Arroyo when it comes to respecting the presidency while it was held by his father.

“When my father was President of the country, I never meddled with the affairs of Malacañang. I didn’t go to Malacañang if the President did not summon me, and most of all, I never slept in Malacañang,” the eldest son of deposed President Joseph “Erap” Estrada said in response to the question of a listener of Aksyon Radyo-Pangasinan where Sen. Estrada and fellow Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) senatorial candidate JV Bautista were interviewed live yesterday afternoon.

The listener sent a text message asking Jinggoy how different he is from Juan Miguel “Mikey” Arroyo, the eldest son of the President and congressman representing the district in Pampanga province where she is running for congressman in the next elections.

Sen. Estrada and Rep. Arroyo share the same background of being part of the First Family.

Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada is running for re-election as senator, while his father, former President Estrada, is trying to reclaim the presidency where he was unceremoniously and unconstitutionally removed by an elitist conspiracy.

Sen. Estrada also expressed sincere gratitude to the Filipino people, especially the masses, for making him the No. 1 senatorial candidate in a survey conducted by the Manila Broadcasting Co. (MBC) last December. MBC is the mother company of Aksyon Radyo AM station.

At the third day of the campaign period for national posts, Sen. Estrada and JV Bautista have been riding on motorcades in the province of Pangasinan.
Last Wednesday, President Estrada and other members of the PMP’s local line-up motored around the third congressional district of the province, the hometown of his best friend, the late movie icon Fernando Poe Jr., who was a native of San Carlos City .

Yesterday, President Estrada, Sen. Estrada and Bautista went around the second district (starting in Dagupan City, which is part of the fourth district), the bailiwick of their fellow PMP senatorial candidate Jose “Joey” de Venecia III.

Next in the PMP itinerary is La Union province, then further north to Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte provinces.

Sen. Estrada also expressed confidence that President Estrada can muster enough votes to win the Presidency because of his pro-poor agenda, peace and security and anti-corruption programs.

Among the allies and candidates of PMP and President Estrada in Pangasinan are Mangatarem town Mayor Teddy Cruz and the Pulidos of Anda town led by Board Member Alicia Pulido, who is running for mayor in the upcoming polls, and her daughter, broadcaster Maki Pulido, who is running for congressman representing the first congressional district of the province.

Well spoken. I never thought I would agree with this opinion, but I’m beginning to see things from a different view. I definitely want research more on this as it seems very interesting. One thing I don’t understand though is how everything is related together.
